Yeah, I've gone 9 days so far without meat..and I have to admit it's a challenge and I've had my temptations where i wanted to give up. It's kind of hard because I've been thinking about it for a good while but don't really have EVERYTHING I feel that I need to complete this 21 day mission. But whenever I DO get everything I'm going to do it again.
No people, this is not one of those freaky New Years 'Resolutions'. I didn't even write one down! I have so much catching up to do from the last ones I have stashed....SOMEWHERE?! O_o I'm doing what's called the Daniel Fast, but mine is kind of altered and I have ALOT to still learn about it so I'm trying to find more info. I've done it before years back and have had some success. I'm very concerned with my health and spiritual well-being so I feel this is appropriate for me to do now and had to quit putting it off until things got 'better'. Somethings are urgent that's why it may seem abrupt and I'm just doing what I can with what I have. I don't want to give anyone any 'incorrect' information about it so PLEASE check it out for yourself and see if it's right for you. I'll be posting pix soon of what I've been eating so far..well if it looks appetizing..lol! Or if I create something that is satisfying.
Had a cup of coffee this morning with breakfast [eggs with sauteed onion wrapped in a flower tortilla with salsa]...oops! But I was craving it..I'm going to try my best to switch to green tea next time. You know how sometimes you want something nice and HOT to drink...oh well I'll do better. :)
Also, with getting back on track with my health and weightloss I'm going to dedicate one week per month to eating only fruits and veggies.
I put like 20 lbs back on since my last plateau I was trying to get over in 2010. I was so close to one of my goals. I think partially fear set in. It's definitely frustrating and disappointing but I'm going to keep on pushing.
I'll get to my goal!!! And I'll post more info on that LATER!
