I remember having an interest in the Japanese culture at a young age when my uncle was stationed in Japan for a few years. He would send home videos and souvenirs to my grandmother which she still has. Out of everything I remember about the beautiful country, the Japanese Cherry Blossom trees caught my eye. I loved how the beautiful white and pink petals were scattered across the black pavement as he gave us a tour of the city he was in at the time.
So this memory was what drew me to the Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Collection. I remember testing the the scent in the store and loving it. A friend found out I was fond of the fragrance and I received the lotion as a gift. I tried to use it sparingly but got carried away so it went fast! I got so many compliments on the scent and began to wear it more on a regular basis, even layering with other scents.
One day I decided to make a mental list of fragrances and scents that I wanted to try and restock.. Japanese Cherry Blossom was on my list. Thankfully, I've been able to add this scent again to my collection once more. I have no regrets about the fine mist. It's very light and as I've stated earlier, I like to layer scents from time to time. It was never overpowering and played into the other layers very nicely. I even spray my bedding with the mist, especially before I turn in for the night. It seems to give a calming effect that I like very much.
